atlas of ideas

desde el lejano oriente transmito esta otra información de los lugares donde se crean ideas hoy en día, como indican estos datos:

Since 1999, China’s spending on R&D has increased by more than 20 per cent each year. India now produces 260,000 engineers a year and its number of engineering colleges is due to double to 1,000 by 2010. According to Thomson ISI, Asia's share of the world’s scientific papers rose from 16 per cent in 1990 to 25 per cent in 2004.

Mapping the new geography of science

The Atlas of Ideas is an 18-month study of science and innovation in China, India and South Korea, with a focus on new opportunities for collaboration with the UK and Europe. The final reports were launched at an international conference in London on 17 and 18 January 2007.

The second phase of The Atlas of Ideas begins in April 2007 and will run for another three years. As well as deepening our analysis of innovation in China, India and Korea, this phase will extend our approach to South Africa, Egypt and Brazil, and will explore cross-cutting themes such as scientific diasporas, low-carbon innovation and science in the Islamic world.

Hola Borja,

muy interesante. En auto vamos a empezar a buscar ideas en oriente. En junio desembarcamos en China, Harbin y Shangai. Vamos a buscar colaboradores alli. Aceptamos todo tipo de sugerencias
